PE lessons…

PE takes place, led by Mrs Townson, on the following days: Tuesday (pm): Oak Class Wednesday (pm): Acorn Class Thursday (pm): Beech Class Indoor & outdoor PE kits are required, with both plimsolls and outdoor trainers. Please can your child’s kit be in school on the above days and all week.

Forest Schools…

Forest Schools will start again next week. The first half term sessions will be for Reception, Year 1 & Year 2 pupils. Sessions for KS2 pupils will take place after half-term. Sports Day…

Despite the summer rain, Tuesday’s Sports Day was a great success, with the children running, jumping and balancing their way to the finishing line. The children showed great support for one another and great sportsmanship was shown throughout. Congratulations go to WYE: 2017 Sports Day Champions.

Tennis at St Weonards…

On Friday last week Riley, Romerleigh, Edward R and Lili spent the afternoon at St. Weonards in a mini tennis tournament (unfortunately the HMFA tournament had to be cancelled on the Tuesday). ‘We played in singles and doubles matches. There were some good rallies and some great smashes!’ Riley

This Week ……..

Wow what a scorcher of a week it has been! The children have been very sensible and have been playing in the shade of the trees or sitting under the PTFA gazebos.
