The children have already begun to share with us which ‘animal’ character they are planning to come to school as next Thursday. As well as dressing up please can your child remember to bring in their favourite animal story, information or poetry book to share with their peers.
As in previous years the children will each bring home a £1 Book Token. Once they have their token, all they need to do is to take it to any booksellers / participating shops– and swap it for one of the TWELVE (exclusive, new and completely FREE) World Book Day books. Or, if they prefer, your child can use their token to get £1 off any full price book instead. If they’d rather an audiobook, that’s fine too! – as long as the book or audiobook costs at least £2.99.
