This Week ………

Today the children paid respect to soldiers who have fallen fighting for their country by observing two minutes silence.

In addition to this Acorn Class have been thinking about Remembrance Day by painting pictures of poppy fields and making their own tissue paper poppies.  

KS2 pupils have been paying their respects to individual soldiers – using the Commonwealth War Graves Commission to research soldiers that share their surname – create a poppy and ‘dog tag’ and writing a personal message of thanks to them.  

moon1 moon2 moon3This coming Monday there will be a ‘Super moon’ and with this in mind Beech Class created moonlight castle paintings & silhouettes – developing our painting and cutting skills.

The children of Oak Class have been developing their sewing and designing skills; creating togas to adorn our Roman Senate.roman
