School Council

We are Llangrove CE Academy’s School Council. 
We were voted for by our peers and we meet regularly to put forward pupils’ opinions and suggestions for additions to our school day.
We have a budget and can add to this from fundraising throughout the year. Our current funds are £209

Our role as councillors

  • To have ideas to make our school better
  • To help promote the good practice in our school
  • To be a voice for the pupils
  • To support pupils that need it
  • Share pupils ideas with staff

Our plans

  • Assist in the planning of school events for our chosen charity – Marine Conservation Society.
  • To continue to promote the good work of our school.

What we achieved last year?

  • Organised our Children in Need ramble – including refreshments
  • Bought playground equipment
  • Discussed methods to reduce bullying and cyber bullying in and out of school
  • Organising Llangrove’s got some talent (ongoing)
