Oak Class News

We have been learning about how to calculate the perimeter and area of rectangular and irregular shapes, and possible links between the two. We have also completed our gaming evaluations using a spider graph to present our data. Whose game came out on top?  

Beech Class News

Beech Class have been applying written addition and subtraction methods this week in the aim to ‘defeat the pyramid’. We are in our ‘invention stage’ in English and have been thinking of alternatives to Nail Soup to support our story planning. In Geography we have been learning about and using grid references.  

May Fayre & PTFA Fundraising…

Year 6 SATS CLUB

Year 6 SATS CLUB As May approaches the Year 6 pupils will have the following after school time available for additional booster sessions: Monday 18th April Wednesday 20th April Monday 25th April (with Mrs Dean) Thursday 28th April Wednesday 4th May All sessions will run from 3.15-4.30 in Oak Class.

PTFA May Fayre 2nd May

TRADITIONAL MAY DAY FAYRE Please put the 2nd May in your diaries and join us for the May Fayre in our beautiful school grounds.  We look forward to welcoming everyone and having a most enjoyable afternoon from 1pm to 5pm.

Swimming Lessons begin next week

Our swimming sessions begin next week 19 April.  There will be 10 sessions on a Tuesday morning, with the children leaving school at 10am and returning at 12pm.
