Samaritans Purse – Operation Christmas Child…

Thank you to everyone who has kindly filled a shoe box or donated items enabling Wendy’s ‘Pebbles club’ to ‘pool’ together the items to make up completed boxes. Mrs Harley collected them today.

Movember Fundraising …….

Having Fun Fundraising… Tuesday’s collective worship was a bit of a close shave…for Mr. Fox, Mr. Preddy, Mr Goodchild and Mr Hartland.  The male staff – along with five others from across the HMFA have pledged their support for ‘Movember’ by growing a moustache to raise awareness of prostate cancer. This Week in Acorn Class……

Acorn Class have been thinking about forthcoming ‘Bonfire Night’ and created wonderful artwork, including leaf fireworks. Whilst collecting leaves the children took time out because there’s no better way to spend a sunny autumnal day than to lie in leaves and be ‘leaf’ angels.

Christmas Lunch Menu

Our delicious Christmas Lunch will take place on Thursday 15th December – menus will be sent home today.  The cost is £3.50 for KS2 children.

This week in Acorn Class …

With the recent turn in the weather, Acorn Class have continued their look at ‘seasons’ by collecting fallen sticks and making clay hedgehogs. They also went on an autumn ramble collecting sweet chestnuts!
