On Wednesday William, Edward & Sarah from Oak Class spent the day at St.Weonards on a ‘Digital Leaders’ training day, working alongside pupils from other schools in the Federation. The day was lead by Mrs Jo Brace our HMFA Computing Lead teacher. The day involved using a number of different apps that they will show, teach and support other pupils in school with.
  “First we received our digital leaders’ badges. Then using our I-Pads we used an app called poppet, we did the lifecycle of a ladybird. After break we did an e-book on our roles as ‘Digital Leaders; I did two pages of writing! After that we made a silly news report and used a green screen – where we painted out a rainbow on the school field. The 2nd time we used it we pretended to be gladiators fighting in the Colosseum (I was the guard who made Edward and Sarah go into battle). ~ William
