We have this morning received confirmation from Herefordshire County Council transport department confirming that for the foreseeable future that the council are unable to provide transport before or after school for your child/children.
The email states:
“Following the collapse of the JMC taxi and minibus company overnight there will be no school transport from that company until further notice.
This office is urgently seeking alternative transport solutions for all the riders but it is unlikely this will happen soon. There are 135 school children to 10 different schools on about 30 separate vehicles. It is not possible to find alternative transport in such short notice.
