A number of Oak Class pupils represented the school this Tuesday in the HMFA Netball tournament at Lord Scudamore. I will hand over to Curtis for his match report…
All the schools were split into two groups, we were in Group A. The first match we played was against Marden. We weren’t able to score despite all our efforts and the final score was 0-5 – not the result we wanted. We earned a well deserved break. We then won the next two games in the group and made the semi final against St Weonards. We all played well, which made it a close game but we won 3-1.
The final came and we played Marden again. You are probably thinking at this moment that we lost but you’re wrong! When the final whistle blew the score was 4-0 and we had won the overall tournament!
