On Tuesday we hosted an HMFA Football Tournament for Years 2 & 3. All of the children had great fun and demonstrated some excellent skills. The matches were played in good spirits and I was thrilled to see great sportsmanship throughout.
Llangrove A team played extremely well, with wins over Canon Pyon and St Weonards helping them progress to the semi-final stage. They continued to play extremely well however narrowly lost 1 – 0 to the eventual tournament winners Lord Scudamore Friar & Owen. Llangrove B team also played well narrowly missing out on a place in the semi-finals on goal difference, finishing third in their pool.
Well done to all of the children who took part, we are all very proud of your attitudes and skills.
