Acorn Class visit Pizza Express …

Acorn class had a very exciting trip to Pizza Express as part of our topic ‘Me and my world’. We started our morning by making sure our hands were washed and aprons were on. We discussed the ingredients we needed and had a go at reading the recipe card. The children loved spreading on the sauce, adding the cheese and sprinkling on some herbs. After that we let the chef put them in the oven and we had fun with an ingredients quiz, learning where our food comes from. We also shared our knowledge about Italy that we had been learning in school. We were very excited to take our pizza home and even got a certificate! What a fun trip!
