Road Closed !

Part of the road from Llangrove to Whitchurch will be closed for up to 7days – starting on Monday 27th November. We haven’t been given any more specfic information at this stage. We will inform you when we do.

HMFA Netball Tournament ….

On Thursday a group of Oak class pupils visited Lord Scudamore Academy for a netball tournament.  Katie and William scored somefantastic goals but the team narrowly missed out to Scudamore and Kings Caple. Well done to all the team for their determination and polite play on the court.

Oak Class this Week …

Oak Class’ Moon Buggies are well into production. We have experimented with series circuits that we wish to use and then used hacksaws and chisels to create grooves into which we will place the battery and other component parts.

Beech Class this Week …….

Beech Class investigated which materials were the ‘stretchiest’ this week,developing their scientific investigations and questioning skills. As part of their computing work the children have created their own map which they have written directions using algorithm phrases.

Children in Need………

We were delighted to see all of the children dressed up as ‘what they aspire to be’ today. Thank you for all of your donations, and an extra thank you to Lily for selling her wonderful cakes. We have raised over £175 so far.

This Week in Beech Class ……….

John Kyrle High School Netball Tournament …

This week the Year 5 girls visited John Kyrle High school for an afternoon of Hi 5 netball. The girls played with such determination and energy and their enthusiasm shone. Charlotte scored all our goals and Frida, our captain, led the team with much determination. A great afternoon was had by all.
