Llangrove CE Academy ‘Geocaches’

Oak Class pupils have made their own geocaches that contained facts about the village that they have found out during our topic. On Tuesday this week they hid them around the village and noted down their 6-figure grid references. These have been made into a challenge for members of the community to complete!

Back to the 1960s for Oak Class ………….

On Tuesday, Oak Class pupils (and teachers) were transported back to January 1960. The school hall was rearranged to mimic the layout of Llangrove Primary School at the time and the children were taught lessons by former teachers Mrs Pridgeon & Mr Winrow. The cane, although ready, was thankfully not required.
Parking at School During Peak Times……..

Oak Class have been busy in Forest School ……

The children filled bird containers with bird seed, peanuts and lard balls. The bird boxes were hung up in an eastern direction ready for the birds to nest. The children made bird hides ready to watch at the next forest school session for the RSPB bird watch week.
