Swimming Gala ….

On Tuesday, KS2 pupils travelled to Monmouth Sports Complex to compete in this year’s Ross Cluster Swimming Gala. In a fantastic, raucous atmosphere the children swam superbly – with several podium positions earned. They all did us proud. Well done swimmers!

Sports Relief !

Many congratulations to Felicity & Ruby – the winners of the ‘Count the steps’ competition. They go home with a sports relief goody bag! The children had a great time exploring the village and local surroundings. Results: KS1: 3,316 steps KS2: 4,227 steps We have raised over £100 so far.  Fundraising continues at tonight’s disco!

HMFA Tag Rugby Festival…

The Llangrove team played exceptionally fast paced games and convincingly won their pool with a fantastic 10 tries. Playing in the quarter finals, they worked relentlessly throughout and narrowly missed out by just 1 try in both matches. Securing 4th place out of 8 teams, the children really did Llangrove Academy proud! BRILLIANT!

Bad weather update

School will be open at 10.30am tomorrow (Monday 19th March). St Weonards is closed so there will not be any cooked dinners. Please provide your child with a packet lunch. Please drive safely everyone.
