School Photos, Thursday 10th September

Tempest have just confirmed that school photos are able to take place this Thursday morning. Photos will be of the children in their class ‘bubbles’ together with any sibling groups. We would appreciate it if your child could be ready in unform on the morning. We look forward to happy smiling faces.

World Book Day …

Firstly, a big thank you for helping the children with their animal costumes – they all looked great. Our collective worship was a celebration of books. The children each got an opportuinty to share their book and talk about their character with the other children in their teams.

Llangrove CE Academy ‘Geocaches’

Oak Class pupils have made their own geocaches that contained facts about the village that they have found out during our topic. On Tuesday this week they hid them around the village and noted down their 6-figure grid references. These have been made into a challenge for members of the community to complete!
World Book Day – Dress as an animal book character Thursday 5th March

The children have already begun to share with us which ‘animal’ character they are planning to come to school as next Thursday. Back to the 1960s for Oak Class ………….

On Tuesday, Oak Class pupils (and teachers) were transported back to January 1960. The school hall was rearranged to mimic the layout of Llangrove Primary School at the time and the children were taught lessons by former teachers Mrs Pridgeon & Mr Winrow. The cane, although ready, was thankfully not required.
