A HUGE congratulations to our netball team for achieving a very well deserved 3rd place at the annual HMFA Netball Tournament, held yesterday at Lord Scudamore Academy.
The team did very well in their pool, winning their games against Scudamore (4-0) and St.Weonards (5-1). They narrowly missed out to Pencombe (3-4). In the final playoffs, they secured a convincing win against Canon Pyon (4-1) and as a result achieved 3rd place overall in the tournament. Pencombe won 1st place and Sutton were 2nd.
The team played with convincing determination and significantly improved their throwing, catching and tactical skills as the day progressed. Superb play Llangrove!
