Llangrove CE Academy – Chosen Charity 2017/18

This year’s charity will be ‘Toilet Twinning’ a fundraising initiative to support ‘Tearfund’s water and sanitation programme worldwide.

£60 will ‘twin’ a toilet with a toilet somewhere in the world; with the school receiving a certificate and GPS coordinates to hang with pride.

Last week the children voted to raise to twin their toilets with:

Girls Toilet: Democratic Republic of Congo

Boys Toilet: Côte d’Ivoire

Staff Toilet: Guatemala

Donations will be collected at coffee mornings after Parents’ Assembly by Year 6 pupils – and I know the Pupil Council have some excellent fundraising ideas for later in the year!
