Olympic and National Coach visits Llangrove CE Academy

Last week we were delighted to welcome Bernie Moss into the school.  Bernie is a former Olympic and National coach in the sport of Modern Pentathlon.
The Pentathlon is made up of five diverse disciplines: fencing, swimming, horse riding, running and laser shooting.
Our young athletes in Oak Class were given the opportunity to learn how to use a laser pistol and were introduced to the basic skills of fencing. The children thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon with Bernie and learning all about these sports.
