On Tuesday the children were transported into space and volcanic earth whilst inside a planetarium. Acorn Class had a great end to their space topic with a show called ‘The Little Star that Could’ whilst Beech and Oak got to learn all about Super Volcanoes. The children really enjoyed the shows in the planetarium with one child even stating “It’s like the cinema but better!’’. After our chosen show the children then explored the night’s sky learning all about the stars, how to spot Jupiter and Saturn.  A big thank you to Mario at Immersive Theatres, and the PTFA (who kindly paid), for this fantastic engaging learning experience.
