| The children have bought home information leaflets about ‘Operation Christmas Child’ Shoebox Appeal. This is an annual charity project run by Christ Church which helps make Christmas special for children who may not otherwise receive a gift. The leaflet explains how you might like to help and what gifts can be included.
If you are unable /do not wish to donate a full shoebox you can still help as Pebbles Club will be ‘pooling’ together any single donations to make up completed boxes. Items requested include: toys, pens, pencils, notebooks, colouring books, toothbrushes, toothpaste, wrapped soap, combs, hairbrushes, flannel and other items such as hats, gloves, hair accessories, sweets (with a best before date of at least March 2020). Please can completed shoeboxes and / or donated gifts be bought into school by the morning of Thursday 7th November. Thank you for your continued support. |
