This Week ………..

Acorn Class have had a busy time in Forest School this half term.  They’ve developed their hammering skills, created leaf pictures, made and decorated flags using natural materials collected crab apples and looked for signs of autumn. Last Friday, Acorn and Beech Class had a ‘pop’tastic time when they cooked popcorn on the fire.

Beech Class this week learnt that the Romans were only successful in invading Britain on their third attempt. The children have been using their number knowledge to help them sequence key events from Roman history.

Oak Class have discussed how the First World War affected our local community. With the help of Mrs Haggett, we found out where the soldiers who died used to live and work. Using poppies we made with the British Legion, we visited their old addresses and paid our respects.
