This Week the children of Llangrove have been very ‘arty’!

Acorn Class have been looking at Mondrian in art this week. We had a look at his famous art work, looked at the primary colours and had a go at creating our own Mondrian inspired art work. 

Beech Class looked at how artists have been inspired by volcanoes throughout the centuries before focusing on the work of japanese artist Horishige. We plan to share our paintings, which have helped us to develop our colour mixing skills, next week. 

Oak Class have replicated Gaugin’s ‘The Yellow Christ’.
