Beech Class made ‘rocks’ in Science this week. First they layered ‘chocolate rocks’ and then compacted them to form sedimentary rocks. To make metamorphic rock the sedimentary rock was warmed in our hands. This week in Oak Class

Oak Class were delighted to welcome Erin and Mia into Year 4 & 5 this week. We have learnt about several of the Ancient Egyptian gods and used portrait ‘grids’ to draw a body to proportion. We chose to draw Anubis in the style of Ancient Egyptian drawings.  

This week in Beech Class ……..

In their topic work this week, Beech Class have sequenced Stone Age to Iron Age events on time lines (from 20,000 BC to AD43). In RE the children have been thinking about books that are special to them.
